They (TV) used to show The Boosh late at night on an 'alternative' channel. I'd never heard of them, and tuned in about 3/4 way through the 'Crack Fox' episode. I couldn't understand it at all. "Why is this man dressed like Joan Jett?"" Just what is a crack fox?" I asked myself, and flagged it away. A year later, I found the DVD of the first series at the Library. And I was hooked forever.
I love the celebrity of eccentricity which seems to be a hallmark of English culture. Zany - and fun. Bog snorkellers of the world unite.
